IIT me percentage matter karta hai baap....but bidu uska bhi range mangata..
70-90 % ke bich me marks ko shm karna mangata.....jyada upar bhagega over confidence niche bhage confidence over ho jaenga,,,so bich me latakne ka...
Marks average rakhne ka dimaag sharp rakhne ka.......chalo masti enjoy///

aapko muh khol k jo bakwaas karni hai, karein. agar koi aapki baat support nahi karta matlab wo aap se lad raha hai?? how lame!!!

Here's the situation.
I study in Gujarat board. My 1st exam is starting from 10th Sept. Now I'm in tension and will I be able to memorize each and every world of book? No. Cause I give a lot of time (say most) in JEE prep. So those who prepare for boards unlike me, gonna get cool marks even they can't solve single problem given by me. Problem is not new, I just modify one given in textbook. So, this is reality.
Any Gujarat board ranker is the one who know how to memorize. (I assume this, exceptions can be there. No offence) If IITs want this kind of people at their classrooms, and they think this step gonna get better students in IITs, WRONG!
In main article of this topic there's one statement "This can be considered as a step taken to curb the major part of the bad effect caused by reservations over the reputation of IIT."
Well 'reservation'? Why consider old topic now? We all know about it and how it is. If they say that the one's in Kota and Hyd get ranks and not others, I remember one boy from Village of Andhrapradesh couple years ago ranked 400 all over India. His dad was labourer in farm. You should understand.
So I'm totally against it. If they're gonna make something like min 85%, whoa! Student appearing for IIT JEE will become less than half FOR SURE!
It's up to those commitees now. Let's see what they decide.
