After many days of research and analysis ,i,once again have come up with a mystery...lets see who solves this...ONCE THERE WAS A MURDER IN A BUILDING MR. RAM SINGH THE DETECTIVE SEND HIS ASSISTANT TO WRITE A REPORT ON THE MURDER. BUT INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE SITE, HE WENT TO A PARK AND STARTED WRITING REPORT.HE WROTE THAT AS " I WENT ON THE CRIME SCENE, I SAW THE DEAD BODY OF MR. COLLIN.THERE WAS A CIGARETTE THERE WHICH WAS HALF BURNT.HE WAS LYING ON A SOFA AND THE T.V. WAS ON. THE GLASS OF THE WINDOW WAS BROKEN AND THE SMALL PIECES WERE LYING INSIDE. THERE WAS A BROKEN MILK GLASS HE MUST HAVE DROPPED IT WHEN HE WAS KILLED.THERE WAS ALSO A BOOK THERE.THE BLOOD OF MR.COLLIN WAS LYING IN PG. NO 235 AND 236.THE NAME OF BOOK WAS MIDNIGHT'S CHILDREN. (VERY IMPORTANT THING IS THAT)!!!! A .7MM SIZE BULLET WAS ON HIS CHEST. HE SUBMITTED THIS REPORT TO MR. RAM.ON SEEING THE REPORT HE SAID TO HIS ASSITANT THAT YOU ARE SUSPENDED FROM JOB. HOW DID HE KNEW THAT THE REPORT WAS FALSE!!!!!!!!! Difficulty-Medium.

In books, PAge no. are always even on left and odd on right so pg 235 and 236 is obviously false. it's either 234, 235 or 236, 237

Here is the next one in the mystery series... There is a famous diamond displayed in a room which measures 15 meters by 15 meters by 15 meters. The room is made entirely of concrete blocks and the floor is covered with thick carpet. The only thing in the room is the diamond which is housed under a glass cube. The glass cube stands on a one meter pedestal in the center of the room. Alarm wires placed eight centimeters apart and running parallel to each other lie under the carpet. The alarm will trigger if more than four kilograms of pressure is applied to any individual wire. Sid Kolpas, who weighs 74 kilograms was able to steal the famous diamond using the following equipment: a 5x 2x4 board, four leather straps (each two meters long and five cm wide), a hammer, and a saw. How could he do it without triggering the alarm? Difficulty-Medium

here is my soln --
the most important thing i can see here is to displace his weight so that it does not exceed 4kg pressure
now to do this he probably used the board and the straps by tying them below his foot
then he just went to the place where diamond was kept , used a hammer to cut the glass then took the diamon and came back the same route

Even i dont know the answer for this mystery, but you guyz can think over it Imagine a prisoner in a prison. He is sentenced to death and has been told that he will be killed on one day of the following week. He has been assured that the day will be a surprise to him, so he will not be anticipating the hangman on a particular day, thus keeping his stress levels in check.
The prisoner starts to think to himself, if I am still alive on Thursday, then clearly I shall be hanged on Friday, this would mean that I then know the day of my death, therefore I cannot be hanged on Friday. Now then, if I am still alive on Wednesday, then clearly I shall be hanged on Thursday, since I have already ruled out Friday. The prisoner works back with this logic, finally concluding that he cannot after all be hanged, without already knowing which day it was. Casually, resting on his laurels, sitting in his prison cell on Tuesday, the warden arrives to take him to be hanged, the prisoner was obviously surprised!

see the fact is that if and only if he is alive on thursday then only he will know the day when he can be hanged that is friday
hence he'll be hanged on thursday or before that ..
considering his logic -- ie if he is alive on wednesday , he shall be hanged on thursday this is wrong
cos he can be hanged on both thursday and friday hence the reverse logic doesn't work

" if he is alive on wednesday , he shall be hanged on thursday this is wrong " Why?? See,if he is not hanged on wed, then he can be sure that he cant be hanged on thurs or else it wont be a surprise to him as promised by the authorities..so that logic is correct..

see the prisoner has said that
"Now then, if I am still alive on Wednesday, then clearly I shall be hanged on Thursday, since I have already ruled out Friday. "
but this is not true as he has not ruled out friday friday can be ruled out only when thursday comes and he is alive but on wednesday itself he can't rule it out
i hope u get my point
