The discussion is on but we are not discussing about coachings or criticising them this time. U can post the solutions given wrong in the FIITJEE solution this will help the students to analyse themselves better.

in open test paper 2 chem assertion reasoning- according to soln- BaSO4 is soluble in conc. H2SO4 due to formation of Ba(HSO4)2 and the answer is A. according to me - We were taught that BaSO4 is insoluble in any acid or base at room temp. So ans should be D. What are your opinions?

doesnt BiCl3 give white ppt of Bi0cl on hydrolysis....if yes then how isnt the answer of that q in paper 1 not D........ look there is a high possibility that i may be wrong......i jus wanna know the answer to this one.....i jus wanna clear off any misconceptn if i had any....some one help me out with it....

BiCl3 on partial hydrolysis does give BiOCl, bt nowhere did i find it mentioned to be a white ppt. (bicl3 is hygroscopic, So my guess is that biocl is soluble)

But i guess according to OPT, BiCl3 when hydrolysed with water gives a white ppt of BiOCl..........
