how is the placement in iit's?

for the year 2006-07 iit roorkee stood 2nd in placements
kanpur had very poor placements comp to other iits

look..............in terms of placements....IIT BOMBAY ROCKS,...............

AND especially in computer science.....and elctronics....
then IIT delhi....

it depends on u .......what do u like...........

a good steady life.....with........40000 rs or more...than that.....living in metro...............thats very good....

but i have taken MINING in ISM DHANBAD......throughIIT ....ya i know very less people know abt it....

but avg placement in ISM in MINING....IS 9.2 LACS....
and petroleum is 10 lacs........

but life is very very tough.............

so in these field jobs life is yough though money is high....

so it depends on u which path to take....

it was my opinion ,,,,many will be against..so ....i apologize for that
