all iit QUALIFIED kids report here for counselling discussion

Well nowadays the IIT counselling is going so for some discussion let all those who have qualified this yr report here.

Since the Counselling of OBC etc. + General upto 6000 have been done while the last set of kids are presently undergoing counselling hence the result can be seen or guessed.

So I request that now since THERE IS NO SCOPE OF MAINTAINING SECRECY as counselling has almost finished so just tell your top 3 preferences + what the other kids in the counselling session were marking so that we can come to know THE MOST DEMANDING STREAM AND IIT.

i hav filled in .........1)IIT delhi comp sc(wont get it but still jus wrote it)2)iit delhi electrical(again jus fr writing) 3)iitd mech(thats the one i hope to get)...............wut bout u bladx

Let me begin I marked my preference as

CS kanpur

CS delhi

CS bombay

while most of the other kids were marking the same : CS kanpur,........this yr we also have second allotment of seat as well.

Next follows Electrical and then mechanical. The core branches have gained more prefrences so even at the rank of 4000 people take whatever they get since the civil . are getting high package.

In the list what they showed me about this yr placement. 99% or even 100% placement were shown. The least package was 2 lac\yr and avg was 24 lac. (i am talking about kanpur iit)

As I came to hear the IIT bombay and IIT delhi are the most demanding IIT for those who need metropolitan envi. + for good place for

enjoying. The IIT Bomabay and Delhi benefit from KOTA guys who prefer a nearer IIT. Nitin Jain as has said is also going to Delhi. Kanpur

zone producing the worst result which may due to various reason like : school burden which gives an average student 1000-2000 hrs less

time to study in 2 yr comapred to KOTA guys. hmmmmm I guess they are right. + we still have very less coaching in the Kanpur zone.

A very funny thing about CS was that I saw a boy who marked all his option as CS. His sheet included all the possible CS in all

possible college. I guess the stereotype rythm of CS - Elec-Mech-Civil cotinues and though we have recession around ...........everyone

knows there will be no such thing after next 4yr
