dear iitians, how much time does it actually take 2 complete an mtech eng. degree( in ME or CS or EE

dear iitians, how much time does it actually take 2 complete an mtech eng. degree( in ME or CS or EEC or EEE) through iit. starting frm btech i.e pls mention the break up, also tell me the yrs if u start frm an REC with BE hw long will it take 2 reach mtech(iit).

mtech degee is of two years in IIT n in NIT.........last six months is of thesis........btech from IIT n NIT is of four years...........IIT gives dual degree (Btech + Mtech) of five years
