Dual degree or B-Tech?
Engineering Entrance , JEE Main , JEE Advanced

I ve got AIR 2445 in JEE. Should I go fr a Dual degree or for 4 year B-Tech course? Also, what's better Roorkee Civil or Delhi textile? I 'might' get Engg. Phy at IIT D. What's the scope in it? I mean, what kinda jobs wud i get?

To be honest, neither option has great core(core companies recruit you for the technical skills taught at IIT) options. If you want a good job, you will have to target finance\consulting\oil companies(all of the above give more weightage to extra-currics, comm skills, analytical skills) during placements. Don't go for duals in branches below mech.

I was doing research and at your rank you should take some good branch like Electronics, Electrical or Mech at established place. Check IIT BHU and I think you should be able to get something good there. Don't take obscure branch like textile, no one gets job in textile field after studying textile for 4 years. They take consultancy jobs outside of what they study.

Try the new IIT's.... IIT Hyderabad is the best among the new IIT'S.

Engg Physics is mainly for research. Civil gets lowest salary in all branch in every IIT. Textile does not even get any job in textile field.

You could not have come up with worse choices. I will say avoid new IIT's because they have too many problems and pick good branch in established IIT's. You should check Roorkee and BHU for better options but don't take anything which you listed unless you are very interested.
