experts plz help: my cousin has the foll. background 61% ICSE Xth a very sincere, humble boy and is ready 2 work hard 2 his best.He has currently answered his XIIth and expect's 70% with perfect calc. He intends taking a drop 2 prep for iit-jee 10 by goin 2 kota,mum,..etc. as he is very determine and wants 2 get a btech +mtech only but his dad is against it .So where else can he apply 2 a reputed inst or shud he take a drop?

Well looking at the talent of that of ur cousin i would suggest him 2 take a drop.

Try to convince his dad its quite better to take a drope and study in a reputated engg. college than to take a costly private college.

If u r olanning to go to kota better go for bansal or resonance coaching they r quite good then other coaching i too hav taken drop from bansal and found it much better.
