Facts about this year IIT counselling

I attended the counselling today(13th june 2009) in IIT Kanpur. I was asking many other people about their choices and everyone starts with the code for IIT Kanpur - CS. So the rumour that CS is less popular has been shown the backdoor . and even the Mech and Elec. were equal in to CS . Many were also taking Civil so the top 10 contains a lot of mixture of this and that ..............I will write a detailed article so that others come to know how IIT do its counselling + this yr trend.
