For droppers who have given jee second time, upto what rank in JEE should admsn be taken in IIT's without considering other exam results??

Every student is admitted into IIT on the basis of his score in IIT JEE and it doesn't consider the results of any other exams.

i think till 3000 they should go for iit and 3000-5000 it bhu and ismu after that they should accept whatever they are alloted..

To get admission in IIT u hav to just clesr its cutoff .They do not bother about results of other competition exams
