how many ppl approximately are there in EML??...it seems like everyone has gt thru eml...is it a jok

ya u r perhaps right....dis tym da no.of candidates in EML seem to be too many

can anyone tell abt the cut off for iit jee???
Not now. After you people get your scorecards, that will be about 3-4 months from now.

i just wanted to ask about the scope of iist and iiser?????
Better ask IIST and IISER guys.

as I am an EML qualified candidate then what chance do I have over others to get selected for the Integrated courses at IISERs.
Your iit jee marks. More your marks, greater your chance of selection.

How do they screen the candidates from the JEE stream -- is it purely based on their JEE score?
yes

Does selection in the EML guarantee selection to the IISERs?
No

Before the counseling, the IISERs will be provided with the marks of the candidates who apply for them although the marks are not disclosed to the candidates themselves by that time. And, on the basis of those marks the candidates are counseled

the last two years trend has shown that people in eml doesnt make it to iist as it is closed well inside the main list. but a lot of eml students does find their birth in iisers. if u are in top 50% of eml u have a very good chance of making into iisers ( though u cannot actually find ur eml rank )

wtf ,its just a list ,u can get admitted in research progrmmes if u got 190 0r 90 if u r i eml it means u didnt clear d cutoff and r u sure u got these marks ,its jus a speculation,u got the marks now wait 4 eml ranks and shut ur mouth until den
