iit 09-was tougher as it had time traps on had to have a lot of time management experience as well as a lot of patience and conc. 2 solve the paper in time and recheck on it before time burned out so one cud gt a gud score.

yes for people who relax at home and look at paper might call it easy but those who gave the paper know that the time management was very important. it had -1 mark even in multiple answer and p q r s t in matrix so it was devilishly lengthy. my last qs. finished when teacher was snatching the paper........

When we are given the booklet 10 mins before 9 am, I was shocked to see that even the Multiple Correct Answer Types had negative marks and in some of the Matrix matching, we had to work backwards, i.e. first solve the problem in Column II and then select the options in Column I. Such questions may not be too difficult but were extremely lenghty. Each one of them at least took 10 mins. And, I was a little scared when I first saw the subjective questions in paper 2. But, they were not too difficult, I guess.

the questions in the jee 09 may look easy if you look at them sitting in your home, but in the exam hall with such pattern of negative marking in multiples & even subjectives the paper was not as easy as 07 or 08 and also lengthier due to long matrix match questions consuming lot of time,in short you can say that content was easy but pattern of exam made it difficult to score.

All those who say there were subjective questions in IIT 2009 paper are completely IDIOTS and out of there mind..It was clearly mentioned on top of it that the answer was b/w 0-9(10 options provided)..what else do u want..and those were not lyk in which u hav to word out something extraordinary......POINT 2 : 2 marks for each match..Last time it was like if u get 3 correct u get 3 and if all rite then 6..this time it was like if u get 3 correct -->6 marx (double of the previous year case)...and 4 correct..(8 marx, so no loss of marx even if u missed one)......POINT 3 : No assertion reason type..I think everybody agrees its difficult to score in them..especially when it comes down to option A or B ..i hope u understand...............POINT 3 : Just look at the comprehensions of maths paper and compare it with those of previous years..u will understand..which are lengthier..............POINT 4 : those who still say questions were subjective..then one thing I would like to ask u..for Writing the oxidn number of a compound(chem paper 2)..do u need to work out that in 2-3 pages?? nahi na........one more example...simple pulley problem in physics in so called "SUBJECTIVE" problems.....................
