i got petro aty ism throgh jee allotment how is it??????? also,how is ism in general regarding pla

i got petro aty ism throgh jee allotmenthow is it???????also,how is ism in general regarding placement,infrastructure,academics etc etc...should i go 4 it or opt 4 ece at mesra...(i got it through eee)

shivashish..!! first thing u are very lucky tht u got petro..u might know ism is no. 1 in india and no. 3 in world for EARTH SC. BRANCHES....so u need nt to worry at all...placements is asusual 100%,infrastructure and acedmics is very gud as its since 1926..

take ece at mesra...no doubt bttr branch...and bttr cllg(as far as placements)..petroleum is not advisable as you have to work for months in seas and forests...which affects ur health and life....U will gt some money... but no multiplexes in Forests...take mesra....

Depends upon ur choice:ISM is a very gud place,gr8 infrastructure,best placements in petro,Academics are Excellent!bt as i've been told Petro is not a metro city job,and it involves field work(but still u will be an engineer and not a labour)I rather advice to go for ISM.P.S: I too have option of Mining in Ism and EEE at Mesra,I am going for Ism

i hav opted for 2nd counselling now

expecting to get math comp or civil at it bhu or new iits???

Dn't rely on 2nd cnsllng...take mesra....better placements....better brach...better collg...
