IIT JEE Acknowledgement Cards

None

I have not received my acknowledgement card yet. I had sent my form quite early around November end. Most of the guys from my class who sent it after me have received their cards.

The IITB website says my form has passed initital scrutiny and eligibility is being verified. I phoned IITB and they said to take a screenshot of the page.

What should I do if I do not get the card ? And what will happen if I don't have the card and even the admit card doesn't reach to me ?

I have got the acknowledgement card from IIT-B.

But you don't need to worry. You were supposed to be worried if the IIT-B site would have shown that your form has not been received. Since it is showing the result mentioned by you, that means that your application has reached there and has also cleared the hurdle, and has passed the required conditions. Acknowledgement card in only there to tell you that your applicaion has reached the respective IIT zone and they did not find anything lacking in it.

So, if you don't receive it, it does not matter. Nobody is going to ask for it later.

But it is given on the IIT-B website that if you don't receive your admit card, then you have to take your acknowledgement card along with two photographs, write your name, appl no etc on two A4 papers and then get the photos attested etc by the head of institution og school last attended, or by gazetted officer etc. For more info visit the IIT-B site FAQ section.

But don't think about that. Everthing will take place nicely.

The IIT Admit Card usually comes late, sometimes even after the given deadline.

dont worry.....u will get in march and i fu wont get..mail them,u will surely get ur admit card for the exam
