Should board marks be added in IIT selection process ?

Engineering Entrance , JEE Main , JEE Advanced

Is it right to add board marks in IIT selection process. Don't you think that board marks can be gained by cheating too?

Yes u are absolutely correct adding board marks in IIT would lead to more corruption The previous pattern was stupendous

see it has always happened....there is a lot of cheating involved in boards as compared JEE.....including it will only decrease transparency....

That's why IITs are opposing for iseet they have set up a meeting with PM and. And soon they will get a positive respond

and board xams and JEE are completely diff. exams though their syllabus remains same.....preparation is lot more diff......

So far IITs have said that. iIT. 1961act has been violated. Senates have the power to make the decision how the best talent should get into their institute

But kapok sibbal wants jee to be implemented as soon as possible. This clearly implies that the decision is taken by completely ignoring the welfare of young IIIaspirants
