sir,i got petro at ism in 1st allootment and i may get maths &computing at it bhu in 2nd allotment

sir,i got petro at ism in 1st allootment and i may get maths &computing at it bhu in 2nd allotment as it just closed 50 rank above meshould i go 4 2nd allot?????means which is better

As such petro is ISMU is the best of its kind in India. Unless you have some problem with petro, I recommend you to stick to it.

Many people have problems. It involves field work, not an indoor job like CS. It's not one of the media's favourite courses, nobody on TV talks about how cool and great petroleum engineers are (sounds stupid but most people know about engineering courses based only on what the media shows). Then dhanbad is in jharkhand and I can tell you I was a little hesitant at first about going to the "Maoist belt" until a prof at IIT Madras told me it's perfectly fine. And so many other issues people might bring up. But like I said, if you just want a good education in a good industry, this course is great.

Stick to petro....u may try IIM's..but there is no need fr them as welll...just look at it's alumini...u wll have abs no prob....u wll feel tht ur sctr gives u sme importance...stck with it..
