well , the best way to revise is to make notes while studying for the first time and going through again and again ... the addition u can do in this thing is , the things u understood can be briefly described in ur notes and the things u didn't understand properly must be detailed... as u go through it again and u start getting the concepts u didn't grasped last time , u just make that also brief and this just get ur notes briefer and u'll have an idea about ur position for the topic .

lets start with organic.....prepare very good notes with "all the reactions" along with suitable examples......at the back of the copy prepare separate notes for POC and lab tests...revise this after regular interval (may be of 1 month or so)....don't forget to include reaction mechanisms and isomerism.....u can write some hints to the mechanisms with every reaction with pencil so that in case u forget the mech. u will have some notes to revise.....hope it helps...

in inorganic, use highlighter to highlight the imp. concepts and reactions in ur "class notes". read some part of it everyday so that u stay in touch with horrible reactions of s,p,d blocks....u may also prefer highlighting the reactions in ncert book only.....BUT IMP. IS THAT U READ SOME PART OF HIGHLIGHTED NOTES DAILY....

in physical chemistry, highlight the imp. definitions, concepts and theory u may find difficult....make an attractive box around every formula so that when u have very little time u can easily go thru everyone of it....in numericals star mark the imp. questions as u go through ur notes and whenever u revise this notes try to solve that star marked question.....this ques. must be of every variety so that u stay in touch with every formula and application also....

in maths also highlight the imp. formula with a box and mark the imp. notes like where statements are true but its vice versa is not true....they are imp. for assertion-reason....in geo. part mark the properties u may find diff. to remember....most imp. is that u star mark ques. which are application based and in probability and p&c prefer diff. types....try to solve this star marked ques. every time u revise..u can also make a test of all that imp. questions so that the application gets deeper in ur mind....give different stars to different ques. according to their difficulty....so that when u have test of limited no.of chapters u solve every marked ques. of ur class notes and when test comes with large amt. of chapter prefer the less stared one.....

see the best thing to revise is ur class notes only....but u should have highlighted points so that u don't study each and every thing again and again....

in physics the concepts are so imp. that u can go without revision in any tests....it also depends how deeply have u understood the subject....but still acc. to me u may highlight each and every formulas with boxes and highlight the imp. points...though they are less in number in physics.....see everything depends when u r being taught that subject...how attentive u were, how much have u grasped, how many application based ques. u have done......so overall in physics revision has very slight contribution but still u can have some marked imp. application and difficult ques.....and u can solve them before every tests......so that till JEE u will have strong hold over that concepts.....
