are asymptodes tangents to the two branches of the hyperbola

None

my 6 marks r at stake

presently i am getting 257,i can have a +6

so will u consider asymptodes to be e common tangent to the two branches of a hyperbola or not.what did u mark the answer as?

(rem>asymptodes are tangents at infinity.right?)

I think they are the tangents. other wise too I think common tangents can be drawn. anyways axis is the common normal, right?

the common normal does exist
but if we think deeply abt the tangent i think we r right

even my 6 marks on the stake.. according to me also asymptotes r tangents to the hyperbola n have marked the same...
