Hi guys, i have a problem. I am in 12th and currently giving the board exams.After the exams(state board) get over on 19th march. We will be immediately having a crash course. The problem is that the main teacher in charge of the crash course has too much attitude and i dont know why he just hates me.So just like in the normal lectures i am sure he will make me stand up and ask me difficult questions. If that wasn't enuf he then says ki i shud not appear for jee and all. I get really demoralised due to that, so i have decided to skip the crash course. So what shud i do ?? How to study and all??Books?? Experts or anyone who can help. PLZ

if u r aiming fr iit 09 then u can go for BT correspondence n self study,buy some good books,study from them when u r prepared take some test series n evaluate ur grasp. books- P.Bahadur for physical chem Morrison n Boyd for organic chem NCERT for inorg phys ML Khanna r Rd Sharma fr Maths H C verma book for physics n dont forget to do past year papers. IS UR TARGET IIT-09 r 08 if ur target is iit08 then plz just do revision n past papers n nothing more be confident of wht u r prepared wid. dont worry,

a million billion trillion dollar question..........WHY THE HELL DO U NEED A CRASH COURSE ???
i think it's just a waste of time.............at this point of time.........u need confidence.........in what u have done till now........and a teacher that demoralises u, won't be of any kinda help..............
and by the way, what compells u to go to a teacher that does'nt belive in you !!!..............
don't just waste ur time even thinking about that.....................
u have all the concepts.......revise them..........solve the objectives..........within a TIME LIMIT !!!.......
take the objective books and start solving em !!
........hope to c ur name in IIT-JEE 2008.....toppers

crash course is just waste of time how can u expect them to teach yuear portion in just 20 days??????????? also when u buy a book make sure that they contain the solutions also otherwise its difficult for an average student like in hcv they provide only answers not solutions i would preffer TMH IITJEE(PHY/CHEM/MATHS) or ARIHANT OBJECTIVE these are really good and also provides complete solutions

crash course will make u crash since u have less time u should go through solved examples of problems of type which u have never encountered till date , at the end of the day just revise in your mind of the method to solve that problem so that if u encounter any of its related type of problem then u will solve in lesser time
u can go for these books like sanjeev gupta ( IIT physics ) or irosv and its soln is available for free ( i mean its e-book )
M.L khanna for mathematics
p.bahadur for chem

its not possible for u to do all these books(morrison,p bahadur, ml khanna n blah blah) in this much of time becoz each book is of 1000 pages...... the best thing for u is to do all the competitive exams questions which r gvn in pradeep fundamental(physics + chem) and the previous iit problems..... do ncert u w'll c few direct question from that...... all the bestooooooooo!!!!

hey listen
abt d crash course
it wud b a waste of time y do u need 1?????????? and den even if ur going and d teacher shows attitude and asks difficult q's y dont u take it in d ri8 sense and try to learn frm dem y to get demoralised? try to revise as dat wud b better dan a crash course

Dude i dont think hearing " tu gadha hai aur iit nahi nikal paayega " can be taken in any way in the right spirit.I know am not a gadha (esp in chem ).. and i also know i can clear iit .Still help appreciated .take a rate

if ur worried abt mr Ji***h......then i don think thers any need 2 do so...... i thnk he is the bigggggesttttt fool on earth to tell somthin. like that to a guy like u atleast not in chemistry..... he shud realise tht he's speakin. to a 99.5% iler in chem........ nd dude, who is he tellin ki tera nahi hoga iit main??? hes absltly wrong.......and being in ur insti. i can tellu that with assurance...... its simple as this ki if u don clear then not many peopl in the so called "G B****" would clear..... dekho agar tumhe usi aadmi se chidh hai to tu uske lectures ko chodke baakiyoun ke lectures kar sakta hai......2 b absolutely honest.... mujhe ye crash course ek dhong lagta hai........ye log bas ye dikhana chahte hain ki "Hum log bhi apne students ke liye crash course organise kar rahe hain"...... so a person of the potntial as u cud as well skip these lectures if ur so much irritated by him........ so go to him nd say that "abe agar tu ne mujhe respect nahi diya......to main JEE clear karne ke baad apna naam CP ya bak****** ya MP****** ko de dunga"!!!! ha ha ha!!! (ofcoures jus jokin.)

nice one pramod bhai . But the point is that he is the one taking the chem lectures na toh i will have to skip all the chem lectures which is equivalent to missing around 2 hrs out of 6 hrs which are alloted i think. Physics toh i can well do on my own.So wats the point jus attending for maths?? I cud do it on my own and tats wat i am going to do. Just i need some guidance on how to do it. I would appreciate it if experts esp(himanshu bhai) replies because he has experience of doing it and that too very successfully.

dude.....
i feel therez no need of any crash course.....but still if u have made ur mind.....then i want to say only 1 thing
u will go there......let him say anything.....i mean its just fr 1 month or so.......y r u giving it soo much.....?
let him speak...u dun listen......just go....learn wat he teaches u come back......dats it.....
u arent gonna live with him fr ur life.....nor he will have any affect whether u r selected or not
so just leave it

hey ashwin....... i mean there are always 2 sides of a coin bhai.........i dont know bout you par let me be in ur position.......and i'd done the crash course just to show that dumbhead what my range is...........that yes i can crack iit even with a monkey on my shoulder...... but i guess for you the wise thing to do would be skip it.........bcoz iit is no cakewalk......and you need your complete focus.......and having ur mind being wasted on a person who's not even worth it isn't really a samrt thing to do........ so just flush him outta ur mind........concentarte on your goal.....with or without the crash course..........and i AGREE WITH U .......DONT TAKE SHIT FROM ANY1 IN YOUR LIFE........ONLY YOU KNOW UR STRENGTH AND YOUR WILL .......NO SON OF A GUN ELSE DOES....... CHEERS......
