Sir i have scored marks to get into the extended list of IIT.But does the colleages which considers extended list will need my 60%?
i am not sure of gettin 60%
plzz help...i am in a gr8 dilemma.........
is there any colleage that doesnot take into account 60% in boards and considers the extended list of IIT?

Dude first just tell ur marks.......who knows u can just even get through??.....
but one thing i want to tell u if u dont get 60% u'll not even make into the Extended Merit list, bcoz admission into it is also through JEE nd JEE demands 60% on dot.......so can't assure ur selection but yaar wait for ur results ........u cud even get 60%........who knows???

actually 60% are the minimum marks you must score to get admission in IIT. if you are unable to get 60% you will not get admission whether you AIR-1 or part of extended list

hey but he doesnt want admission into an IIT but into any colleage that uses its extended list yaar.........so may be there is a chance...

IIST and IISER take students from extended merit list and their is nowhere mentioned in their sites about minimum marks required in 12th.

FOR IISER there is a minimum criterion of 60 % marks, dunno about IIST

making it to the extended merit list is of no use...
coz ppl frm d main list...occupy seats in IIST and IISER...coz its open 4 dem as wel....
so if u dont hav gud enuf marks for IIT...extended list serves no purpose....jus wait 4 ur results...if u hav wrked hard...u wil get a gud collg...
