I 'm a lover of astrophysics and wish to learn & reserach on it ..I want to know its prospects with any IIT...

I'm an NTS scholar ....which is  my only assurance in standing by my dream ...or rather passion... in this rat race for 'engineering'..Please help me with some viable suggestions....

I'm in IIT Roorkee and I'll strongly recommend you that you try for any Int. Msc course in IIT. I think IIT kanpur would be just right for youif you are ready to study. Here in IITR, the Physics department is really nice. The proffesors here are doing world class research in the field of atmospheric Physics, String theory, particle Physics etc. The enviroment is nice and I hope you can find a lot of like-minded like my roomie. He is Msc. Int Physics and wants to do research in astrophysics.

All I can say is that, IITs are a nice place to be in if you are genuinely interested in studies and also for an overall deveoplment of your personality.
