How much an average person should study to crack iit

Engineering Entrance , JEE Main , JEE Main & Advanced

I am giving IIT on 2010.How much an average person should study to crack iit.Also am not able to stick hours on book. I am very weak in Physics and maths am not able to solve any problems plz suggest me also thorough with the concept

There should be inner motivation and the interest in sciences to get yourself "stick" with the books. Just develop that interest!

And about the no. of hours- 5-7 hrs per day.

No. of hrs are not important, how much and how well is studied is important.
