IITR v/s NSIT
None

i visited the roorkee capmus yestreday.
i have been alloted production&industrial engg.
i came to know that the syllabus of mechanical and this branch is nearly very same except for few chapters and most of the time the students of the 2 branches study together.

i am also getting ece at NSIT
which one will u prefer?
i also had a doubt
how do students studying at IITR study for GRE and MBA as there are no coaching centres(maybe) over there as it is cutoff from the man cities.
how are the placements of IITR compared with rest of the iits?
is roorkee equally as good as all the other iits

i am also getting mech at bits goa
which one will u opt for if u were in my place
will u got for the brand name or for the subject?

yaar..
my branch that i am getting is gud as ppl say..but, it is tough ..so, i have to decide..
u shouldn't have any doubt..ur branch is very gud..in fact better than mech. so, go for it..and the campus thing..leave it..u r going to study there..and u can't compare any IIT wid IIT-DELHI OR BOMBAY..in terms of campus..
so, join & enjoy the remaining days
am too going to kanpur..to visit the campus..and then will decide..

I saw Bombay IIT ...It was just like any other institute with buildings., labs, sports ground, hostels etc.....I guess Roorkee has all these....whats the problem???

I agree. Even IITB is no great shakes.
I didn't find the buildings/hostels as good as I imagined them to be.

u really think u can go to coaching centres while studying at iit ,if yes then it means u r screwing up ur gpa and btw gre doesnt need any coaching help.

if u want confidence 4 taking up the iit brand name u suck. I cant believe u want to do an mba. All mba people know how important the brand name is. Dont be an idiot. Go 4 IITR . If u dont then God help u!
