its self study which matters for any exam so is for IIT so if u can work hard only good books will be sufficient rest all things like doubt clearance etc can be achieved through this site

remember coaching institute only make ur efforts to the right direction the effort has to come from u

About 4 months ago one goitian said that there is no hope for students who go for self study. I wrote back :

You r right that the people who attend the coaching classes gets more practice than those who study alone in thier homes. May be u r also right that there is not a even 5 % chance to those who dont go for coaching classes. But what is the alternative ?
Should we up our hands and say the war is lost ? I have 2 more years till 2009. Even I shall have a chance in 2010. So i m not going to quit.
This is first.
Secondly, heaven will not fall if someone don't get chance in IIT after all efforts. Life will not end.
But why worry. Thats in 2009.

See Rajat ,

If you want to know that is general with respect to Life
then I will say that it is you and only you that will make the
difference of getting selected in IIT at last.

But if you are asking me and only me then I'll say :

"Coaching For IIT" can make a hell lot of a difference.

I do not beleive in thepeople who say that it will

increase your chance of getting into IIT by 5% or 10%

whatever it may be.

Caoching will make you work hard even if you don't want to

So . In the end Your chances are Half raised if you are

even 50% serious while coaching of the 100% seriousness

that you would have shown while self-Studying.

The Time for saying that Coaching will raise your chance

to get into good college by 5% is all to be before 10th.

Now It Is IITJEE (Not a joke)

Dude , I would say go for Coaching and it will be helpful.

If NO Coaching then 100% seriousness + notes from some

Reputable institute + Test series from Any Academy

You Know that by 2009 it will be Subjective+Objective So
I think at that time COACHING will be useful.

Like it or not but Coaching is important for JEE preparation. I must make it clear, i Dont think that coaching is the best way to study for IIT JEE, but its like friction in physics - a necessary evil. The reason is that if you dont join a coaching you would not get to know those tricks which other people would know and have maybe unfair advantage on you.

So coaching is important in the JEE era we are in.

certain concepts in the jee are of much higher standard than cbse or stateboard.....
u hav 2 get used de way of solving numericals of jee level.....
a reputed coaching center is the best way 2 start

you can always refer notes but u will miss out the key concepts taught in class dat are most help 2 de jee......

only if u hav de full focus and "never say die spirit"
u can crack de jee........like napolean said "BURN THE BRIDGES"

I have only one message for the ppl ....
please please dont think that u r too smart n decide to do self study ....
JEE is for the top brains in the country...
So when u r competing with the best , it is ultra important that ur preparation is the best which can be provided only by coaching classes....
Ask the experts if u want.........
