any idea how good a college ism dhanbad is???????????????????? rates for sure.

one of the very very good colleges i have ever seen.....................hope i can get that college.....if u r getting it............please do take it.

one of the best infrastructure. and in terms of placements .,it is in accordance with IITs...........

only difference is when it was asked to change its name to IIT DHANBAD , the head refuses . and it is still call ISM DHANBAD.

Very good indeed.
Better than most of the NITs in terms of being truly cosmopolitan, infrastructure ( the campus per se). I have seen it myself couple of years back.
However,the flipside is : it is in Dhanbad which is situated in J'khand. That sucks. Some people have mental block about it.

I am hailing from that city only and I can say that it is one of the best institute in INDIA.

Also some streams are unique to ISM by its quality like Petroleum Engineering are really the BEST!

The HEAD refused to change it to IIT Dhanbad coz ISM retains its own identity in fields like Mining, petroleum, geology etc etc.....Getting the IIT tag would have killed da ISM tag which the alumni and head did not want.
