maths & computing(M.sc course)... in IIT v\s CS or EEE in nsit\dce?.

please wat should be the choice..

comp science in NSIT......believe me...its true..

professors from IIT are slowly but surely moving to NSIT and therefore....they give you a reco. and u get good internship offers outside....one of my friend is in australia rite now...she did comp sci. frm NSIT....

moreover...by doing a msc...u wont be called an engineer..

NSIT COMP,lots of guys like u in nsit comp who have their jee ranks btw 2000-3000,for confirmations talk to ur nsit comp seniors,abt 50%of the class is jee qualified

so, even if it is Msc.?..though it is in best IIT i know..but, still can't make a decision ..

Well... I think you can get Chemical in IITG & believe me placement statistics are excellent.
For instance: Average Salary For Chemical: 6.5 Lacs per annum
Overall Average Salary: 6.2 Lacs per annum

plus a good performance in first year can land you up in CSE in IITG too... whose average salary is whooping 8.3 Lacs per annum I guess ! :)

first of all why did u opt for m.sc its just not d same as b.tech....if i were u i wuld hv taken textile del or civil rrk/guw or chem guw

it wont matter....msc maths nd computing of IIT is damn gud....IIT ki MSc hai koi faaltu msc nahi....companie like google yahoo microsoft will take u....msc tag wont matter at all...placements r better than mech or chemical

nahin yaar...iit profs ne bhi yahi kaha ki b.tech anything is thousand times bettr than m.sc and also they said kanpur ki m.sc is maths nd SCIENTIFIC computing and it is not too good....kharagpur one is good its maths nd computing and similar to the b.tech course

yaar me too in same situation....i am also getting MSc Integrated Physics at IIT kANPUR.............and...........i will also be getting CSE at NIT Warangal (as i did in Off Campus On-line Counselling)........really confused

me too sailing in the same boat
i got msc math & comp @ iit kgp
i also got electronics in bits goa in 1st iteration (it may change to cs in final iteration)
what should i do?
