comp science in NSIT......believe me...its true..
professors from IIT are slowly but surely moving to NSIT and therefore....they give you a reco. and u get good internship offers outside....one of my friend is in australia rite now...she did comp sci. frm NSIT....
moreover...by doing a msc...u wont be called an engineer..

Well... I think you can get Chemical in IITG & believe me placement statistics are excellent.
For instance: Average Salary For Chemical: 6.5 Lacs per annum
Overall Average Salary: 6.2 Lacs per annum
plus a good performance in first year can land you up in CSE in IITG too... whose average salary is whooping 8.3 Lacs per annum I guess ! :)

nahin yaar...iit profs ne bhi yahi kaha ki b.tech anything is thousand times bettr than m.sc and also they said kanpur ki m.sc is maths nd SCIENTIFIC computing and it is not too good....kharagpur one is good its maths nd computing and similar to the b.tech course
