metallury m.tech or mechanical dhanbad???

sir,
i've cleared iit jee this year
i'm sure to get metallurgy with m.tech in IT BHU and mechanical at dhanbad.
what should i opt for?
plzzzz help, its urgent

u'd better go for metallury at it bhu,
mechanical hasn't got much of scope for future...

Considering the factors of reputation of institute and branch I would recommend you to join Metallurgy at BHU.

mechanical is an ever green feild so it is completely stupid to say that it has no scope in the future.
but at the same time i think that u shud go for bhu purely because of it very gud reputation

i completely agree with what Mr.bipin said .it's better to join it-bhu with mettalurgy rather than ism dhanbad

Metalurgy oh BHu is no one in india--- institute is also excellent and placment also------------ so best option

BHU is more reputed than ISM for the typical Engg branches. Also, Varanasi is closer to yr hometown Lnow.
The only hitch is it is a MTech at BHU Vs a BTech at ISM Dbad.
Plus Mech is superior to Metallurgical as a branch.
ISM has a cute little campus.
So, it is a close call. 52-48 type. U hv to decide yself.
