my friend is getting a rank of 2075 in jee and 388(score) in bits. what can he opt for?

tell ur friend to go for bits,pilani ..computer science straightaway with that sort of score....as getting a good branch in iits is difficult with that rank..cheers..

At this rank in JEE he'll not get the desired stream in IITs.
Surely BITS Pilani is a good option and he'll definitely get CS there.
But you have to plan for further that you have to go with the tag or the stream. It depends on what you want to do in future. At some places tag is required and stream is the basic thing at other places.
