Hi abhishek, IT is turning IIT-Bhu. But is it the latest news ?

It is "proposed" to convert IT to IIT but other states are protesting as UP will have TWO IITs

hey nalin...looks liks you and i have a lot in common..my BITS score is 301 ( although it was 295 before the revision of marks ) and my AIEEE rank is also 4403....
according to what I've heard..the clause to change IT BHU into an IIT will be in the same bill as the one for the new IIT's...so IT BHU is becoming an IIT...

so where are you ppl from...???

fm Bhopal. My int for Mech. so want to try NIT Try, Skl, Wgl. If no MECH, then IT BHU

Me got material science and engg. 5 yr. dual degree at bhu. I have left NIT allahabad cs. And strong and firm and happy abt. my decision. Although my family was against it. I may not get high initial(note only initial) salary but that doesn't matter to me. I will definetely get a competetive lot at it-bhu. Which will definetely help me after a few years. My jee exam did not go well and it-bhu will provide me another chance. I really don't care if it becomes an iit or not(although it will).

Are you sure that you can take IITJEE exam in 2009 after joining ITBHU.

I was told by one ISMU student that if I join ISMU I cannot write IITJEE next year. Confirm and also let me know pls.

i did not mean a chance at iit-jee 2009. I meant a second chance to prove myself in life.

hey guys if you join any iit,it-bhu,ismu then you can't give jee next year
don't join it - bhu with surity that it will become iit- bhu bcoz i have discussed from old iitians they told me that this matter is going on from last 10-12 yrs. but it has not become iit.
but you can join it-bhu for it is among top 10 colleges of india
