So what does this prove..

None

Well i'm kinda confused on seeing the results of IIT-07. I means people like KAB,shakirshafi,chimasnshu007, manasi who are tagged as EXPERTS are not getting as good ranks as other "ordinary" people{although they are IITians now and i'm happy for them..hopefully i'll meet ya'll next year ..HOPEFULLY!!!}. All this tells us how different the IIT paper is from all others, the performance on THAT day matters even more than the preperation for 2 whole years. Is goiit the best idea.... I doubt it now?

Any views?

i was expecting 138 (in Physics and Maths chemistry to choro abi) and i m getting whole 134 in eee wat do i say...............can't blame fiitjee bcoz all other students marx are near about wat they checked..........so where shld i go now , i have done hardwork (didn't went fr coaching) but my luck was nt with me
so plz don't post smthng like this in future

Hey joy.....who do u think we r?????Do u think we have some special intelligence???????There r so many many many intelligent students all over India who r not the members of goiit...Its true that the performance of that day matters.......If u do well these 2 years and cudnt do well in the exam then all will be in vain.

And one more thing....I didnt write IITJEE2007 at all(Check date and time of this post if u want proof http://www.goiit.com/posts/list/electricity-max-force-8067.htm#44559) well there r many reasons but the main reason is I UNDERESTIMATED MYSELF!!!!!

My AIEEE score is 264 AIR 2302 and state rank(Karnataka) 32

I agree with Himanshu.Now concentrate on your studies and plz stop posting such IRRELEVANT things in future!!!!!!!

I think this is a very honest outlook and a very straightforward and frank statement. Why should you people put someone like this down? I am from Chennai and I can tell you I am completely befuddled by the way the ranks have come out this year. My rank was much worse than expected but I know guys who were sure top 200s who have not qualified at all, maybe only in extended merit list. No, this is a question that merits sincere consideration and if you can't answer it don't put it down. (Having said that, you're probably as visceral about your point of view as I am about mine!)

ya thats what i'm saying, should goiit be like just asking queries and leaving the solution to the experts.ALTITUDE won't get us into IIT now would it?.

Yr point is well taken.
I guess Bansal Classes has tilted the scales in favour of Kota. Have this feeling that a lot of people from Kota has made it to IIT this time around. .....Perhaps someone from Bansal Classes may validate this.
The AIR # 1 is from Bansal. Looks like # 2,3 & 4 are from the hinterlands ( Dehradun,Indore & Bolepur )......Perhaps unaided by any coaching.

rank 2 was from delhi.. dps rk puram...took naryana 2 year classroom course..
