the no of particle per atom for HCP structure was given 6 as per many jee solutions
i expected it to be 4 and many of my friends too
please post ur comments about this

We think ccp n hcp are the same. They are. But one small difference. The unit cell of hcp is very different frm tat of ccp. Even i made the same mistake. The unit cells r the only thing different from both. Refer any book for unit cell. I think u must be knowin anyway.

The qsn is not particle per atom. It is atoms per unit cell.

but there is no bravais lattice structure which can explain 6 atoms per unit cell

more atoms can come beside the 3 atoms which will increase atom per unit cell
