im from tamilnadu. im giving bmat test series(brilliant's) and my average percentile is around 80% only. but im doing good in aieee exams and im confident i could get a rank <100 in the state in aieee to enter into NIT, TRICHY.
will it be worth if i prepare for jee harder for the next 1.5 months and will i be able to enter into mech or aerospace in iit? and also wat rank and score is required for these two fields???
or shud i concentrate on aieee and bitsat and also my state board exam(state board exam marks do count for a seat in NUS, though i dont think i could get into a good field there as their admission is purely based on boards!!!)
PLZ HELP SOON!!! RATES ASSURED

AIEEE and JEE are totally different. You have to identify your potentials. I know people who cleared JEE, but got ranks in excess of 12000 in AIEEE. JEE is not about speed, AIEEE is based on direct formulae. Since you wrote the AIMS model test, you must have realized that. The physics section was too easy, except for one or two twisted questions. Most of them required direct formulae. In AIEEE, only maths is challenging.
Coming to JEE, yes, you have to be in the top 5% to clear it. Firstly I suggest that you try your best to clear the exam, and then worry about the course that you get. Clearing it JEE is an achievement by itself. And keep in mind, BITSAT is comparable with JEE (its physics is really challenging, though chem and maths are elementary)
