what should i do :

1. joined comp sc branch maharaja surjmal (ip college) but it is not in the top 100 list of colleges.
2.should i drop i got

bits-238,dce-2648,aieee-27000 delhi state rank 2400
but has not started to study till know.and i have very poor acurracy rate ????

in bits i had +300 & -62 so u can imagine of the acuracy rate

look frnd if u are really determined to get iits or nits or BITS and think that "yes i can do it" then go for the drop , bcoz let me tell u its not that easy to drop , ur effort has to be 100% with breaksin b/w(very imp).
Get the notes of the best insti. and start studying from now don't wait

BUT if u think that it's gonna be a difficult job to drop then go for CSE in surajmal , i think it's one of the good clgs of IP and its placements are also avg. around 2.75-3+ .
We all here just can guide u but the decision has to be yours.

but dude i will join college but prepare side by side .i m thinking that if i can give about 4 hrs everyday and give about 10 hrs on sat & sun each . can i crack any of the good institutes ,i ve done 2 yrs caching in narayana. i know how to study, but just the question is of just sitting n studying .

continue studying engineering . u cant completely rely upon the top 100 ranking list of india. i found some college in karnataka which should have been in the list but r not there. while some which have made it ,did not deserve 2 b there . its tough 2 give top 100 ranking college for which they have 2 analise thousands of colleges.

You have to judge for yourself whether or not you are willing to put in your 100 % if you drop a year. Your scores are at best "decent"., and they can easily be improved upon in one year. I have personally seen people rebound back from much worse score. But then they have been very motivated and hard working people. So, if you are ready to put in all you have got for the next one year, you can take a drop. However, if you feel the slightest doubt that you can't put in an honest effort, do join whatever college you get, for then it is quite probablr that the drop will be a waste of time.

So, think carefully and decide. On one hand you have the best colleges in India and on the other you have a year to save. You can definitely improve on your scores if you work hard. So the final question you have to ask yourself is this :" Are you willing to work hard for the next one year" Answer it honestly, and your path will be decided.

dude i think u hv pretty ok ranks dis time....i think if ya drop u will improve...like if u make it 2 top 1000 ranks in dce...or 300+ score in BITS then its pretty gud.....
