Abt SASTRA, Thanjavur

None

How is SASTRA, Thanjavur??(In comparison to DCE/NSIT)

Considering that I may get CS at SASTRA and a lower branch like mech/ICE at DCE, what shud I choose?

Is SASTRA govt or private college?

Give details abt its fee structure, placements, reputation etc.

A medium branch at DCE or NSIT especially is much better than the best branches at SASTRA. They are different leagues altogether. SASTRA comes around top 100 engineering colleges in india, maybe around 70 or so, maybe not even that while DCE comes around top 20.

forget about the link. Currently value of a DCE degree is a lot more and NSIT has even more value. Your rank btw?

AIEEE rank? Don't even think of SASTRA. Take NSIT. You will get ICE and MAE I guess. If you are extremely lucky you just might scrap through IT, though don't expect that. Take up NSIT. PERIOD!

I am not thinking of SASTRA as such. Just wanted a general idea abt it.

With that AIEEE rank you should be thinking of DAIICT, NITs, Jaypee Noida, LNMIIT, IIITs and so much better. Why are you even considering SASTRA.

Anyway, if I were you I would take NSIT without thinking twice.
