can ny one enlighten me abt 1)chandigarh college of engineering and tacnology(CCET) and UNiversity institute of engineering n technology.(hows it compared to maharajha surajmal institute of technology n jaypee noida)

I don't really think that these stand a chance in front of JIIT. However CCET should be comparable to MSIT, don't know which is better. Anyway, CCET is a lot better than UIET.
Both are good institutes within Punjab after IIT Punjab and PEC. CCET probably ranks third there while UIET probably stands fourth.
I am pretty much sure that Jaypee Noida aka JIIT is a different league altogether whereas MSIT should probably be comparable, though I don't know how well does MSIT compare with these two.

i'll go with akshay on this one.....if u are a circuit branch freak you shoul opt for jiit or lnmiit, else pec is a really well established insti and first choice if you dont give a damn abt the branch. but give thapar a good thought coz even that is a really well established college.
