AICTE approval

I read posts about DAIICT not approved by AICTE and that AICTE's approval is a must for going abroad/working in govt. companies.
But AMITY claims that even if it is not AICTE approved, there will be no problem in joining it.
It seems they have given some clarification regarding the same on
Experts and knowers plz assist.

well i have hrd frm my brother who studiesat AMITY that amity university does not need AICTE approval
but ya it needs UGC approval so that its students after doind Btech
can apply for GATE and other exams
UGC team will visit amity in coming days!!
who knows they may get it!!

hey CooldudeRama17 i know that(by the way i m more experienced at goiit than you. check my membership date) whenever i ask a question in Ask Expert Panel ,my question is added in Discuss with Community .So it implies that even if u ask experts or not u got to shell out ur 2 nickels.
I think there is some problem in this site in the above respect (Aministrator plz help)

i dunno about DAIICT , but what amity is doing is creating a course without AICTE approval.
i believe AICTE Is the regulatory body for all the technical courses in india.I mean , it is the like the ISI of engineering colleges.would you spend 8 lakhs in buying a product that is not marked by ISI??you won't right..that's what it means.
institutes like VIT , SRM and AMITY make such courses and ruin the future of students just to make money.be watchful of these while counselling...
