Q.9*(CHEM) SECONDARY STRUCTURE of PROTIEN depicts
--------now guys the answ at fiitj is given as ALPHA HELICAL BACKBONE but secondary structure means fixed configuration (it can be ajpha helical or beta pleated or others)  is it a discrepancy?

see secondfary structure of protein means the overall folding of the polupeptide chain.
and this orientation is given by the alpha helix and the beta pleated structure . hence the answer is alpha helical backbone
