You have a good chance of getting the subject of your choice in any NIT. However, your chances of getting through IIIT Hyderabad are so-so if at all.

You should be able to get any course in any NIT. However there is a small chance that you might fall a little behind the best course in the best NIT, small chance. I should say you should get E&C in Trichy.
