hey,

i have been seeing scores bouncing around from 300 to 122 in this site.

now , i may be wrong - but i feel that the cutoff this year will be lower than the ones predicted by most of us in this site.ie - somewhere around 150-160 instead of 200.

one must realize that a majority of the members are not average students - consists of repeaters , iit - crazy students (read - smart , not actually crazy!) and so on.

any comments on this subject are welcome.

hi there.
i agree with you.many like me have made many silly mistakes and the cutoffs could reach 160-170.

chances are you can man..seriously.

you might just make it through cutoff.

last year the cutoff was around 45% of the total score.this year , it might be the same.

you must count the fact that the total has also reduced.so 45% of 360 is also a good score.

raghuram u will make it..don't worry...ravi and amber,the cutoffs fr last yr was 150 marks out of 540!!!so,this yr with the same level of toughness,i think it will be around 100..

yo man.nice to know that someone else kept their cool about aieee cutoff.
i was really stunned at the aieee predictions that were coming up last night.

200 out of 360 as cutoff may sound legible for some but in terms of percentage i don't think CBSE will do such a thing.

thanx for that...but the formalities took more time..i started exam 15 min late time wasnt sufficient

evry1 jus chillax...nothin 2 be afraid of.....this time the cut-off is gonna be around 150 marks...

this time difficulty level was almost same as the previous time so we can xpect sumthng similar to previous time...

same here .i too could not start my exam on time.i started filling the details at 9:30

I believe the cut off should be higher than previous years earlier due to very long lenght of the paper students were not able to attempt the whole lot of questions but there was no such problems.
I am getting 235 and expecting around 8000.

Raghuram i think your score is not very good.
You should start concentrating on other exams.

Well your chances for central councelling are bleak but you should get some state college.
