both of u'll hav a solid chance.
last year a score of 170/540 fetched a state rank of 300 in tn (according to J.P.Gandhi-the famous educational analyst whose articles appear in the hindu)
dony worry about people posting marks in 200&above here. if they r so good they will get into an iit. moreover the people here in goiit r not avg students . they r the most intelligent students from all over the country . & its only our state rank that matters!!!

180/540 was great last year.
u 've got the same out of 360 (50%)
& i felt that this year's paper was tougher than last year's(chemistry is an exception)
stop worrying.

u always hav a chance of gettin a seat in nitt (may not be the course u want)
