then also the companies would discriminate u?????

Its not like the companies and all will discriminate you, its more likely that you will be more questioned as to the need to drop a year if you thought you were clever enough to make it to the IITs etc.
I dont really think they'd discriminate if you were really capable of delivering what they need.

ya.... I also hav this doubt....as sum seniors (post graduates) have told me that sum companies like L&T do not
allow ppl who hav dropped an year or more in campus interviews......although I am not sure abt it.....
