My friend is sure to get CSE from Mesra (AIEEE) and has a score of 298 in BITSAT ?
What do u recommend ?

He can get a dual degree at BITS. If he performs well in the first year he can get CS at BITS too, PIlani Goa or Hyd.. But its upto him.

anything at bits would be better than bit mesra(no comparison between the two at all!!)
at 298 u might get msc dual at pilai and may be btech at goa...i wont recommend u to join bits hyderabad at ur score (its just the 1st year for hyderabad campus)

Yes u should take msc degree at pilani and try for computer science there.

Opt for BITS Goa/Hyderabad.
better than "Mesra".
