I have got 330 in BITSAT . Can i get Mech. pilani??? What is better Comp. Sc. Goa or Mech. Pilani???

u'll aslo get electronics and instumentation in goa if ur interested...but between these i feel...comp is best as bits is knwn for comp and mech not too popular thr...

@naveen no re...BITS pilani has a fab mech department nd even at goa the mech faculty is superb...so pls dont underestimat BITS mech re...ya but its true that CS nd Electronics r the top branches of BITS.
@karan...i guess naveen is right..u ill end up with eni at goa...or else chem pilani...
dont keep hope for goa CS to be frank...
waise CS goa wud be better than Pilani Mech coz CS is a gr8 branch in terms of placements nd the BITS tag stays.

I agree with atish. mech is avery good branch in BITs. And at your marks it will be very difficult to get CSE. But don't leave mech if you get it.

Guyz , thnx for d replies .....i had put CS goa above Mech. pilani and i hav got CS goa !!! above dis is E&I pilani which i dont think i'll get.......Is CS goa gud, wat r d job prospects????

Dude , the faculty of Comp Sci is from Pilani.Goa's infra stru is really good.We have a really great LAN sharing sys, where u can get pretty much any software/tuts etc u want.U'll have a lot of frnds/seniors etc helping u out.

I know someone who has got EEE at BITS-P Goa with 331. He is waiting for Mech at BITS-P in the next iteration on 22nd. At 330, u r sitting pretty. U will certainly get EEE at Goa. U shd have already got E&I at Goa at this score. I am surprised why u haven't got it so far.
