You have not got the right concept. That time there were less seats so things were a lot different. Besides, at higher marks there are fewer people per mark whereas the number really goes up in the lower marks.
I estimate a cut off greater than 205 for sure and ther is a good chance of a cutoff being 225+-5-10. However don't be shocked to not get qualified in case the cutoff stays upwards of 230 which is again a possibility.
hey ....I m sory.....BUT it is not like that
the cutoffs never come below the waitlist cutoff ,in 2007 ,260 was also waitlist cutoff as of now its 251
SO ,guys n gals who r placed on waitlist only have chances in further iterations
REST hav to regret.....................................
the no. of students in 250-300 bracket have almost doubled!!!!
and many more in 220-250 plus waitlist cutoff has been set at 251..
but no. of students in 300+ has decreased drastically hence cutoffs for BE course will dec by 4-5 marks but not much change in Msc..
actually my friend talked 2 d dean of bits pilani n accordin 2 him dis year d cut off would b abt 225... i dunno abt d last yrs pattern but i dont think so tat d cut off wont b 251 as in last yrs case der was quite a lot of diff b/w d cut off marks 4 clear list n waitin list... lets hope 4 d best
As compared to Last year ,Cutoffs for CSE/EEE/ENI is not likely to be effected much specially at Pilani. However for MSc courses and others may be civil/Chemical/Pharmacy, the cutoffs will fall due to change in AIEEE selection procedure of considering outside state quota on AIR basis.
The likely scene will be known after 2nd iteration. As after that small changes will occur specially in higher branches.
hey man please post cutoff for bits hydrabad civil (or B.E. last branch) if u have any idea......
