1. BITS Hyd is a newly opened coll - it has started 4m this yr itself & u'd b d 1st batch 2 come out 4m it & so u cannot b sure abt d placements.
though in 6-7 yrs it might b comparable 2 d nits but it isnt right now.
2. D brand value of Nits is just next 2 IITs & very similar 2 BITS.. faculty, placements, infrastructure.. everythin wud b better than BPHC
But mind u im talkin abt d 3-4 top NITs - d same may not b applicable 2 ne other.
NITs too have a good label and top 3 NITs are fanastic. Once in a while they may figure in the top 10 but they usually figure in the top 15 which is very good. Also consider which course are you getting at these 2 universities. Frankly speaking, from what I have heard, even the BITS Goa first batch got as good placements as DCE and you can expect the Hyderabad batch to get placements somewhere between DCE-NSIT if not better. BITS could be a very wise investment, however with NITs you may not get the best but you are sure to get something good.
well if u r getting ne gud branch (eg - CS, EEE, ENI) in Hyd & if u r not gettin ne gud branch in NITs then go 2 Hyd.
Well yeah - u wont ruin ur career in Hyd but d ques is whether u get smethin better than d NITs as far as placements r concerned.
Hyd is surely a damn gud place (as many MNCs r there) & i've heard tat d new BITS campus is located near d offices of many MNCs but d facilities in d campus wudnt b very gud, though b sure tat there wud b no probs as far as d faculty is concerned.
BITSians in general , feel that Hyd will do better than the Goa Campus(whose first batch have got placed.)

Yes , BITS Tag is helping greatly for the Goa Campus students.
BITS Campus and campus life will anyday be better partly because of the city, secondly because it is private and thirdly because it is BITS.
Faculty and infra at Hyderabad should be miles ahead any govt college.
If all this matters to you blindly go for BITS
