hey guyz.....m gettin CSE at both BITS PILANI GOA CAMPUS nd NIT-T.........!!!!!

ive been talkin to a few BITS goa guyz..nd dey say facilities at goa r not at par with pilani....in terms of faculty nd all.......nd NIT-T hostels are  a head-ache....

so wich1 of these 2 is best??

PS:m still hopin to make it ta mech@pil ...score 324!!!

May be faculty at Goa not as good as Pilani. No. may be less but quality will not be much less because most of the faculty in Goa is from Pilani with years of experience. Just see the website.

Moreove, u should compare faculty at NIT Trichy with Goa. Infrastructure wise Goa is 100 times better than Trichy. Opportunity wise both may be same.

ek aur BITS-G vs NITT debate . I think this is the most popular debate of 2008

So many opinions and so many contradictions

Bhai both are very gud institutes and u are in an awsum position to choose the best branch in either of the two, well done.

Joining either shud be based now other things as xtracirricular activities, campus life etc

cause both inst are almost at par at everything(except infra)--- and i also thing BITS brand is bigger but NIT-T also provides good opportunities.( u see this debate is really endless)

being at goa a few good points apart from academics :

1. We have a 30Tb(30000 gb) of games , movies,and songs, and e-books on DC (lan networK) and the download speed is about 5-8MBps (means u can download a movie in 2-3 mins)

2.Single rooms for everyone with free internet in every room

3. Many clubs and depts ( though NITT also will have many clubs)

4. Awsum weather

Choosing a campus is a very personal decision--- I wud have preferred BITSP-G ( do not think i am biased it is wat i wud have done...rest up to u)

adbaby89 : i have not said ki net and masti is the criterion for choosing campus i had clearly written things apart from academics that we do in goa

presently :

placement trichy>Placement goa

higher studies goa>higher studies trichy (look ill give u the list)

4 years when arjun graduates:

placement goa=placement trichy (if not better)

higher studies cannot be compared as it varies on a yearly basis

I would go with Goa. Better future investment and more enjoyable 4 years.
