m score in bitsat is 278.my parents are telling me to take long term for iitjee nd aieee 2009 to get selected in them.i dont want to pursue iitjee coaching again.pls reply to me as soon as possible as i'm thinking that suicide is the only option available to me

dont even think of suicide man.. it will only aggravate problems..
never think ur parents will do anything wrong to you.. if you dont want to go for iit coaching, just go and tell ur mom..

abe chill yaar.....dont think this way..
from this year , bits has launched a new campus (hyderabad) ,so the no. of seats would increase and the cutoff would be low..so although u might not get anything at pilani but u can get msc at goa and hyderabad(or even a BE course)...
i am studying at bits-goa and i believe it is as gud as the pilani campus(actually pilani is better than goa right now but seeing the pace at which goa campus is growing , it would be among the best institutes in india by the time u get out..)
as far as msc dual degree is concerned , it is as gud as a BE degree..(if u want any details related to dual degree..let me know..)
so..if u really dont want to take 1 year drop , bits is definately a gud option.
try to convince ur parents (but do listen to their point of view also)
if u want any other details related to bits..ask me..

u might get but most pobably u wont....cut off might be just around 255 ...last year it was 274 for pilani campus(msc bio) and 271 for goa campus(msc bio again)

i have told my parents about not taking jee coaching.they have scolded me for some time and my cousin who will be writing jee 2009 was saying that i never worked hard and so i did not succeed in any of the entrances.he was confident that he would be getting a rank below 100 and my parents too are encouraging it saying that atleast one in their family would get an iit seat.what are options left to me and i heard that as 6 new iit's are starting this year the bits'hyd cutoff would be defintely lower(somewhere near to 220 or 230 for m.sc bio).pls tell me any way to get rid of jee coaching as i dont want t pursue it again
