A new coll will obviously take time to be on lines of the old ones...So dont expect much from Hyderabad campus in terms of placements etc(I am sure it will end up as the best engineering college in the state)
Apart from that the professors, the research facilities,,,the infrastructure...the connectivity etc are very good for Hyderabad campus(Itz very close to my house :) )
So you got to decide on the branch you are going to get
As for the future it mite even beat PIlani and Goa in all aspects

I agree with that.1st Placements will be very good , though not as good as Pilani or Goa's but certainly comparable.

hi
well new colleges always take time .. first batches are subjected to lot of expreimtens .. there are lot of administraitve problems .. inexperience at times .. all this gets reflecetd in the kind of education that u get etc etc .
so i do not suggest tat u join such a college

Though it applies to all colleges I dont think hyderabad campus will have such problems...primarily coz the director has been the dean of many departments and has a vast experience of handling issues... Secondly I know mot of the profs who are actually coming to Hyd campus...they already have major things sorted out...and all the profs and assistant profs are few of the best in the campus

My analogy is simple:
Assuming that person isn't getting elsewhere, would you suggest someone NOT to go to one of the new IITs ?
Not likely.
Becuase the new IITs(though they'll operate out of temporary campuses , which isn't even the case with BITS-Hy campus) , do have a certain standing , certain "Pre-assigned Credibility"
While Puneet Bhaiya is (in general) right and what he said would apply to "some new college" , I don't think it can be rightly said about BITS. BITS has good experience on setting up new and successful campuses(Dubai , and more recently Goa).
