I have three doubts 1.Till Now i havent paid much attention on entrance syllabus(concentrating on board syllabus).......but i am capable of solving obj question(some difficul ones also)...if i work hard from now for the next 5 months can i still clear BITSAT 2008. 2. Is there any special attention needed to be given to bitsat exam.......i mean like if u prepare for jee,AIEEE etc..do u have to do somethin xtra for bitsat.....considering it to be computer based. 3.When Is BITSAT normally held???? pls help me out...

well for bitstat u req 80% in ur resp board exam...
then....
nothing's different , its all same....qs level is also same...
u jst require practise thats it....try giving some online tests...frm swingwind.com or hellochampion.com
and BITSTAT is held in entire may....
u have to choose a particular day....and u will be given ur nearest centre...
thats it
all the best :) :)

and for god's sake , try all the extra questions. Else no matter what you are, you wont get comp in bits pilani without trying them.

I will tell you my tale. I tried the starting 150 questions. Scored 351. Had 4 minutes left. Had I even gone through the extra questions, atleast 6-8 to ho heen jate which is 20-25 marks. Comp cutoff this year is in mid 360ies. And my friends who did the right thing by going for extra questions did score 380+. So, if you just do the paper with accuracy and speed, you can potentially score 380+ which is way ahead than what is needed if you are going for bits pilani.
