Frnds I am studying in class XII and am giving my CBSE board exams rite now. I gave my phy paper yesterday but messed it up due to time constraints......expecting arnd 80/100........but that may even go under 80. 1. My main tension is that will i be allowed for admission into BITS if my physics score goes below 80.I have done chemistry very well.I have still MATHS remaining. I know that BITS need 80 percent aggregate but i am coming across ppl saying that we need 80 in all three subjects each.I am really worried.!!! 2. In my physics paper i have doubts mostly in theory based questions.Do the CBSE ppl cut full marks if the final answer is rite or do they give marks for steps also.I have heard that the checkers in a hurry sometimes mark the right answers wrong. Pls help me with these questions.My mood is terribly down due to physics.

Well, I too have the same problem.
I heard someone say that you need more than 60 in each of PCM and an 80%
aggregate.

its clearly mentioned that:
The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

u need 80% aggregate nd 60% individually for each subject for BITS. which u r obv gonna get .. so jus chill .. nd study well for mths ... !

First of all, by posting here, you cannot get your marks up to 90, or even reduce it to zero. It all lies in the hands of God, and the examiners. So just chill, forget about everything and study for the next exam. Believe me, CBSE will never give you <80 unless you've really messed up the paper.

hey man cool down..............u need to get 80% in total for PCM or u need to get 240/300 ......individually u need to get at least 60 in each of P,C,M...........and bout physics as karthick said........

really, u dont have to worry....first of all dont count the chickens b4 they r hatched......maybe now u r feeling phy was bad....but u might get more than wat u r expecting...so, chill and try to get gud marks in other subjects.... all the best.
